End of the summer, I haven't done this nearly enough..
So here it is September, and unlike the prolific hetero-life mate, I find it hard to blog everyday. But this will change I have decided. I am 48 hours away from leaving for the yearly visit to the home office, but when I get back this every 2 to 4 week space between blog entries is going to change damn it!
But I do have a few things to touch on today however.
1.)First, I am a big fan of where I live. Living here on the west Coast of Canada is a truly great place to live, and on Thursday last week the boss to me and my fellow managers on a grizzly bear adventure tour as a "thank-you"for the hard work this summer. So we all loaded up in a big zodiac and headed through some of the most scenic waters in North America on out way to a river estuary that is home to a clan of 40 grizzlies. It was a beautiful sunny warm day, and we ended up seeing porpoises, sea lions, seal, and dolphins..but no grizzlies. But the ride was fun, and was way better than going to work. (I wanted to share more pictures but my computer is being the bitchiest of bitches, every time I try and add a picture windows shuts down..try and make a play list in itunes..nope shuts down..try and embed the New Iron Man Trailer from Youtube..no way jose..I need help from my bishop of the computer world damn it..)
2.What else is new:...well at the end of August my parents, that have been together for 26 years, finally got married. Bout time the old man manned up!! it's kinda funny. My Mom asked me how I felt about it I was like "you guys have been together since I was 5, and the brother was 1(that's right I am a child of divorce!..back from before it was the thing to do...lol) so it didn't really matter to me..but I am glad they are happy. It was a small ceremony at the (newly renovated) house with close friends and great food...oh right and an open bar!.
3. Finished Harry Potter...book ended just the way I thought it would. I echo the Heterolife mate's sentiment of.."heh"
4. Watched alot of dvd's and movies lately, but you should watch this documentary called "This movie not yet rated", it's an interesting look at the people that rate movies.
For now that's it have to go to work for my last day before holidays. As of 12am tonight I am on 9 days off. Leave for the home office 7am Thursday morning. Can't wait. Although I find it funny. Whenever I go to the homeoffice, there is no one really in the big city. The Leafs are out of town, the Jays are out of town, and except for once when Pearl Jam was in town at the same time ,no big concerts. But this time the night after I get there the Beastie Boys are playing. But thats ok..more important things are going on this trip than concert going.
