Let's hope this can redeem the series..

The first movie...very cool. The second not so much. But this at least looks like it's going back to the cool feel of the first one. Definitely on the must see list.

Can yo judge a movie by the posters...

Being a child of the 80's it's almost genetic to be drawn to and excited about a Transformers live action movie. I have mentioned this movie here a couple of times and as you can see they released the first posters today. If I were to judge mearly on the posters I would say this is going to be should be cool, but I type that with slight apprehenstion. My only hope is that it will be a Transformers movie and not just a Giant Robots Kicking the Shit out Each Other...

Another List to argue with...

Earlier this week the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame released a list of the "Definitive 200" albums that every music fan should own. You would think that those people would know what they are talking about right? I mean they are the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, not some group of people sitting around at a Starbucks discussing their Norah Jones Records and how they compare to that of Micheal Buble. These people are in the loop, have their fingers on the pulse, or so you would think till this list came out. Peep out the list here. Then come back and we can discuss like adults their choices...

You back"..ok..How far up their asses do these people have their heads? How much Crack is being smoked in Cleveland these days. Apparently alot if this list is any indication. There are so many things wrong with this list that I really don't know where to start, I really don't. So at least let me try and share with you some "highlights" of the list.

1. First off...200 albums that everyone must own and no albums by The Band..oh Jewel makes the list at number 64 with her debut "Pieces of Me" but the Band's debut "Music From Big Pink" doesn't? This is the album that gave us The Weight and I shall Be Released. No your right "Who will save your soul" had a bigger effect on music than anything The Band did...fuck knobs..

2. Did you see number 13?...why the FUCK is that even on the list..sure it was kind of a comeback album..but please..fuck Rob Thomas and Smooth..Just thinking about this album in the top 15 makes me sick. Some notable albums that it's ahead of in the top 25..Purple Rain, Who's Next, Song's in the Key of Life, Let It Bleed , American Beauty and The Wall. Blasphemy...

3. Norah Jones "Come Away With Me" number 27, Miles Davis "Kind Of Blue" Number 34, Dixie Chicks "Wide Open Spaces" Number 35, Marvin Gaye "What's Goin On" Number 38. Tell me how that makes any sense.

4.The Beatles "Revolver",one of the GREATEST albums of all time comes in at number 42. Number 40?..The Saturday Night Fever Soundtrack...take another hit on that crack pipe I tell you..

5.The Fact that ANY Creed album is on the list at all is amazing to me but the fact that it comes in ahead of Neil Young' "Harvest" and The Clash's "London Calling" is down right wrong. Any one who believes that this is right..get the fuck out of this blog and stop buying music period...

6. The Titanic Soundtrack comes before all of the following albums:Deja Vu, Never Mind The Bullocks, Rubber Soul and Exodus...this is actually making me sick...

Really there are some good things with the list, but really you should know something about what your making a list about. The next time the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame needs to make a list they should call me. You here that Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Email me or something. Between the Hetro-life mate, and The Home Office we could bang that out in an afternoon over coffee...fuckers..I gotta go shower the stink of this list of me now...

Best movie of the year..so far...

So tonight was 300 night. I had been looking forward to this movie for awhile and let me tell you..it delivered no matter what the critic's say. This movie kicked ass. The basic just of the story is a Spartan King takes 300 of his best men to defend his country from the invading hordes. This is when the fun insues.

This movie was made using the same process as another of my favorites,"Sin City" , and is based on a graphic novel, that like "Sin City" was written by the great Frank Miller. This movie, not to sound to gay, is beautiful and stunning to watch, and was just fun. Sure decaptitaions and fight scenes not seen since "The Two Towers" and "Return Of The King" are fun...but who knew that ancient Spartan's were capable of such witty banter and had a penchant for one liners. I urge all to see this movie IN A THEATER. Don't download it in a few hours, don't buy a bootleg copy from a guy in an over coat, see this movie the way it was meant to be seen damn it. In a theater. What don't like the theater?, worried about kids screaming? Please you need i.d. to get in for christ sakes.GO see it. Live where they have an Imax? Go see it there too. Just see it. In fact I will go again, just call. It can be a bit graphic, but hey it takes place in ancient Greece, it's not likes thems was nice times.
