Trailer of the day

This is a trailer for yet another comic book movie. Unless you are over the age of 50 or a fan of the comic book world, like myself, you might mot have heard of "The Spirit". Trust me when I tell you that he, along with it's creator Will Eisner, is a revered property in the comic book world. Frank Miller(he of Sin City and 300 fame) is directing(for the first time by himself) the movie and it looks very cool. Is it using the same film making techniques as Sin City and 300?...sure it may look like Sin City 2, but that doesn't make it any less cool.

I am a fan of the....

So as I sit here in front of the computer this morning waiting to go to work,I need something to take my mind of the downward spiral my beloved Habs seem to be in.

I was making a list of who I hate more Tim Thomas, Marco Sturm, Milan Lucic, Phil Kessel or Bono. Who am I kidding...I hate them all.So I decided to check out some Trailers.

So in light of the heart attack I may suffer during game seven tomorrow if the habs doen't score 4 goals a period to end this thing I thought I would share the trailer for the new Cusack movie. I am a fan of the Cusack. As I have stated before I would watch this guy in anything...doesn't mean I have liked everything he's been in, but I'll watch it once, or 30 times in the case of High Fidelity. So here's the trailer for War Inc. Seems like it's going straight to DVD which is too bad...it seems interesting...a good cast..even if it has Hillary Duff in it...enjoy...If the habs lose tomorrow I may throw myself off a cliff. Ok maybe not but... but I will be very grumpy....fucking Bruins!

Season Number 2 begins(The east)

As most people know(and the local Canuck Fans are tyring to forget) the playoff start today. Now I could bore you with why the Habs are gong to do so well and make a deep run. But I wont. I will simply put out my predictions for the series. Here you go..I will start in the East

1. Montreal vs Boston- This is really a no brainer. The Habs will control this series from the start, and don't see Boston putting up much of a fight. My condolences to my Birthday Brother about his Bruins. Sorry!!..haha Beers on me the next visit to the home office. Montreal in 5(but part of me sees a sweep...)

2.Ottawa vs Pittsburgh- Now Ottawa has something to prove but don't have Alfredsson or Fisher in the line-up and are suspect at the goaltender position. Gerber will start the series but I really don't see them beating Sid the Kid and his merry band of goal scorers. The only gray area for the Pens will be Marian Hossa. Dude can't seem to score in the playoffs. Pittsburgh in 6

3.Washington vs Philadelphia - I think of the first round series in the Eat this is the most evenly matched. Washington rode a tremendous streak to get IN the playoffs and take their division by winning like 12 straight thanks to Alex Ovechkin and the work of a certain goalie traded for at the deadline. Huet seems to have found a home. But they are playing the big bad Flyers. They have a tougher style than the talent loaded Capitals and they actually finished with 1 more point than the Captials. I like the Flyers in 7.

4.New york Rangers vs New Jersey- There was a time when teams feared the Devils. now i believe they are a little past that stage pf striking fear into the hearts of opposing teams. their biggest threat is of course Martin Borduer. This team will only go as far as Marty gets them. The rangers on the other hand seam to be a team gelling at the right time. With a solid goaltender and the scoring punch of guys like Jager, Drury, Gomez...The Rangers take it in 6.

THE WEST

1. Colorado vs The Wild - I think this will be the most closely fought series in the west. Colorado is feeling pretty good after getting in the place offs and will be riding that momentum. and really can you count out any team that has Joe Sakic as their Captain, and even a rejuvenated Jose Theordore. With that being said however, and the Hetero-life mate won't like this, I don't see them beating the Wild. The Wild is a solid team that matches up well with the Avalanche but I think the Wild win this in 7.

2.Detroit vs The Predators- Nashville can't compete with the mighty Red wings of Detroit. the only hope for the Preds is their young goaltenders. But really?.. Wings in 5.

3.Calgary vs San Jose- The Sharks, a team alot are picking to wn the whole thing, are going to be in tough against the Flames. Even though the Flames finished at the bottom of the conference, I think they might be able to beat the Ducks. Why?..two words..Jarome Ignla. Then there is Mikka Kipprosoff. The Sharks also have a good team mind you. Joe Thornton alone could make a difference. this series is close..I actually like the Flames in 7.

4.Dallas vs The Ducks- The Ducks are the defending champs but they haven't looked like the team that won it all last year. Though that doesn't mean they aren't a good team. Good defence and a fistfull of scorer could make this interesting. The Stars on the other hand have looked really good at times and average at times. If the Stars have a chance Marty Turrco will have to steal some games in Anaheim and Brad Richards needs to find the net. All in all, I think the Ducks in 6.

There you go...thats what i think....now go watch some hockey..
