Priorities damn it...Priorities

Wow..it's amazing when you don't blog for awhile all the things you could share and write about. I have a whole list. I could..

1. Write about what it's like to be unemployed after leaving my job of 14 years 9 months and week(give or take) and how I fill up my days with DVD's, the Gym and my newly purchased XBOX 360.

2. Write about the new KINGS OF LEON album. How it's good but seems to be missing a little something in my opinion. And about how I knew it was going to be the Hetro-lifemate's favorite KINGS OF LEON album because of what I thought it was missing.

3. How I would like to change the Canadian Constitution and election practices so that Barack Obama could lead this country if things don't work out down south.

4. How I am going back to work in a week in a new job earning more money with better growth potential but it means going away for training for three months. The first month of which will have me living in the states. That should be interesting...

5. How I am sure as much as I like being off work and filling up my days with DVD's, the Gym and my newly purchased XBOX 360. I am ready to go back to work but after a week I am sure I will be longing for the days when I was filling up my days with DVD's, the Gym and my newly purchased XBOX 360.

But really lets get the priorities straight shall we and let's talk about the most important topic out there on this the 9th day of October...

THE NHL SEASON START TODAY DAMN IT!!!

Now I could go on about the season, how my beloved Habs are celebrating 100 years this year. The fact that they have actually improved their line up after last years AWESOME season of 104 points and finishing first in the Eastern Conference and seem poised for a great run at #25 this year.(I am not saying they will win but will make a great run) But really the Habs could be a 500 hockey team and I will still be happy and call the season a success if the following things happen.

1. They finish with a better record then The Canucks, Avalanche, The Bruins and The Leafs(which really shouldn't be hard in the case of the Leafs....my apologies in advance to the HomeOffice Hockey Division.)

2. And I win my Bet with the Hetro-lifemate which goes as follows. If my Montreal Canadiens finish with a better record and make the playoffs and His Avalanche doesn't then I win 10 bucks, If by chance the Avs squeak into the playoffs then whoevers team last longer gets 1 DVD.

With that I have some NHL09 to play....enjoy the season folks...
